What is BLUB Hot Melt Wax?

BLUB Hot Melt Wax is a hot immersion chain waxing system with ceramic additives that offers:

Unlike traditional lubricants (oil or liquid wax), this system fully penetrates inside the chain rollers, creating a solid and uniform lubrication from the inside out.

MTB 300/400 km

In wet or muddy conditions durability may be reduced by half or more (depending on conditions and exposure time).

Before Application!

For optimal performance, durability and efficiency, it is essential to follow proper cleaning and degreasing procedures (new or used chain).

Completely degrease the chain and dry it before immersion in hot wax. New chains supplied with factory grease too.

HOW TO USE

The system requires a specific waxing machine or a pot to melt wax in its own packaging.

APPLICATION METHOD (If done on “Bain-marie method”)

Fill heating container with water and heat at medium level (do not boil) 75– 90°C (wax must not exceed 90°C)
Place wax bag inside
Once melted, fully submerge chain for 10/15 minutes. DO NOT REMOVE CHAIN ABOVE OPTIMAL TEMPERATURE RANGE. If wax is too liquid, adhesion will be reduced and durability significantly affected.
Remove chain and hang it to drain using the included hook. Minimum curing time 8 hours (12 hours optimal) before reinstalling.
Move the chain a little bit to start making the extra wax jump and install it on the bike.
During the first KM’s the drivetrain may sound louder and small wax flakes may detach
