Blub Partners with Česká spořitelna – Accolade Cycling Team for 3 Seasons
Blub, the high-performance lubricants, cleaners, and sealants brand, has announced a new three-season partnership agreement with the UCI Ceska Sporitelna – Accolade Cycling Team.
The Česká spořitelna team was founded in 1994 and has been a general partner for 27 years, with competitors from the team competing in four Olympic Games and several prestigious marathon stage races such as Cape Epic, Brasil Ride, Epic Carpathian Andalucía bike race, 4 Islands, and Alpen tour.
The team’s leadership has been instrumental in directing their goals towards marathon races, with Radim Kořínek becoming the leader in 2009.
Under his leadership, Kristián Hynek became the European Champion and also won a bronze medal at the World Marathon Championships, securing a transfer to the world team.
This season, the team has registered among the UCI marathon teams, with a trio of competitors joining Mark Rauchfuss.
Míra Skála, a native of Strakonice, Marek Bartůněk, a young man from Znojmo, and leading Czech cyclist Karla Štěpánová complete the lineup.
The team has been called Česká spořitelna – Accolade Cycling Team since 2016.
Despite the challenges and complications of the pandemic, the team continues to operate under the same name, and tentative plans are in place to fulfill their goals this year, thanks to their sponsors.
Blub is closing its sponsorship campaign for the 2022-2023 season with the addition of the Ceska Sporitelna – Accolade Cycling Team.
The team joins other UCI teams sponsored by Blub, such as Movistar Team, Speed Racing Company, Cannondale Vas Arabay, and Zaaf Cycling Team.
